I will never understand why people complain after buffs and nerfs, and I don't mean just say wow I think that one is bad - but really, really carry on about.

I just don't get it. PvE players (which I think I make part of since I only spend maybe 20% of my time in PvP) aren't affected by this, and even sometimes get that extra buzz - like changing into some really cool critters. I use some of the skills that got the bat, but I know that I will adapt if they no longer work in my build. Why is it such a huge drama for people?

I stole Searing Breath from the Great Destroyer, but stealing Lava Wave, on the other hand, is a no-no. I lost connection in the mission when I tried to use it.

They have armor working the wrong way. You should deal 100% against warriors and more against casters. Not 50% against warriors and more against casters. Damage numbers would need to be corrected.

PvP players had to buy the new campaigns too if they wanted to get the new skills...

Don't mind me, I'm just tired of having to constantly redo skill templates because PvE gets d***ed up by skill changes that were done to benefit PvP. The problem is, these things may improve PvP, but they just have weird, pointless, or damaging effects in PvE most of the time, and fixing those screw ups usually is more a matter of tedium than actual thought. If there were PvE skill balances meant to create some more challenge in PvE it would be different, but we don't get that, we just get whatever bizarre side-effect the skill change has on our gameplay.

It was kind of fun playing around with the puzzle pieces the first few dozen times, but it's really getting old now that I'm used to the skills and am not really finding new things in each profession. And I'm REALLY tired of the PvP people just brushing off the complaints with their arrogant horse crap as if PvP is the be-all end-all of gaming (newsflash: the nerds CREATED this entire genre for you haloheads...).

I really just want a game where the PvP and PvE skill treatments are different, because PvP and PvE will never be the same or require the same tactics.
Redoing skill templates. Oh boy. Do some thinking, it's good for you. I PVE more than I PVP, I just wish I could do more PVP. I find little time for it. PVE is easy enough, when I mess up it's because I'm doing it wrong. The whole argument that PVE takes different type of play and thinking is bogus, except for the fact that AI is easy to manipulate. Please grow up.

I am very pleased with this update, GvG were really silly with those crazy Dervish spikers. Love the mesmer buffs.

He interupted their monster skill to change elemental forms and so he could use it.

Meh. Some good buffs, some bad nerfs, some skills still need attention.

Yeah, it's pretty obviously a bug. You're not supposed to be able to steal monster skills, and you can bet it'll be fixed within a day or two. Which is too bad, because it's great fun. Maybe they could re-work it into a PvE skill.

How am I a hypocrite for explaining that PvE is conquerable by anything?

PvP is not. I was simply explaining that I don't understand why people simply don't think a minute, change their build, then monitor their builds a little more closely, instead of believing the sky will fall when a skill changes from 5e to 10e.
Because not all of us enjoy having to dig through lists of skills in wiki every time some muttonhead in PvP complains that he can't beat a certain build so we can fight the same things we had no trouble with yesterday.

I'd rather they buffed the MOBs, frankly, to make it a little tougher. At least then I'd feel like I was spending my time changing tactics to beat a stronger opponent rather than feeling like someone just kicked my avatar in the groin and now he has to adjust.

Don't you know how skills work and what does what for most of the skills? I do. For your reference I have between 2k and 2.5k hours play.

Also, it's not because something can't be beat, it's that the skills are imbalanced, they are too strong. I don't think I explained it well, can someone help out?

They didn't buy as many though and with other char slots.I gave Anet and NCSoft about $380.00 worth of my money.

I think the Song of Restoration nerf is a little bit harsh, basically increasing the average energy use by 33% with no significant average healing increase from it's previous version.

BUT you don't see me whining about PVE being ruined. You won't see me throwing fits about how PVP screwed the game. Because all that is garbage.

Sometimes I think my PVE peers are a bunch of whining weetards. Remember, we're not all like that.
